This is one of the few replacement mileposts at this end of the canal. It is
found just to the north-west of lock 60, one of the Wheelock Flight.

At this point, the canal backs onto Malkin's Bank Golf Course. A little
further down in the village of Malkin's Bank, there used to be a
Boatman's Co-Op alongside locks 62 and 63.

As with milepost 64, one of the pair of locks has been allowed to fall into a
state of disrepair and is no longer used.
