This is found to the west of bridge 146 which carries a minor road out of
Hassall Green.
To the west, alongside Hassall Green lock, is a restaurant (named Lock 57 in
October 2005) and a Post Office with a striking Georgian post box set into the
wall. Further west of these, the canal passes under the M6 motorway.
