Milepost 63 ~ Red Bull Flight

Link to picture of milepost This milepost is found to the west of the bridge that carries the A34 over the canal at Kidsgrove near to the Red Bull pub, and in the middle of the Red Bull Flight.
Link to view west To the east, the Macclesfield canal branches off and crosses back over the Trent & Mersey on the Poole Aqueduct. The Maaclesfield Canal came some fifty years or so after the Trent & Mersey, and the aqueduct was built in 1828.
