An original milepost with a lock-side location.
The wall behind the milepost separates the canal from the railway.
There is a short tunnel created by the drop in the towpath alongside the lock
and the railway bridge pasing over the canal so close to the bottom gates of the
lock.
An interesting aspect of the railway bridge is the recess built to allow for the
balance beam of the bottom gate.
