Milepost 52 ~ Limekiln Bridge

This original milepost is found in the outskirts of Trentham as the canal makes its way towards the city of Stoke-on-Trent.

Although not apparent from these pictures, the far bank of the canal has seen the building of a lot of new housing.

Despite this, it still looks quite traditional as one approaches from the south.
