Another replacement milepost, this one is fairly isolated as the canal is now
well clear of Rugeley. Between this milepost and the next, the canal passes
Wolseley Bridge. The Wolseley Arms, which stands nearby, is reputed to have been
a meeting place for the proprieters of the canal prior to its Act of Parliament
being granted.
Although the milepost is in a rural setting, the canal soon passes Bishton Hall,
now used as a school.
