Milepost 29 ~ Handsacre

This is a replacement milepost. The canal now forms the northern boundary of Handsacre. The fields and woodland that has made up most of the far bank since Alrewas now gives way to houses and gardens.

The milepost is directly opposite a winding hole.

The wording on the dedication plate reads as follows:
