This is another original milepost and is quite isolated although a new road bridge is currently
being constructed over the canal to service the new industrial development. It is found
immediately behind the Coors distribution depot (Bass to those with any sense of history).

Upstream of here, the canal passes under the A38. Unfortunately, modern bridge design is nowhere
near as appealing to the eye as the old red-brick, hump-backed bridges built when traffic needs
were nothing like those of today.
