Milepost 11 ~ Willington

Link to picture of milepost This is another replacement post and is in the heart of the village of Willington by the marina. The marina offers a water point alongside the winding hole. There are temporary moorings that are frequently busy throughout the summer months.
Link to view across canal Willington has long been overlooked by the five cooling towers of its power station. This has been decommissioned and is in the process of being dismantled.
