Milepost 8 ~ Arleston

Link to picture of milepost Link to view from bridge This milepost is situated opposite Arleston House farm and near to bridge number 18 which carries a very minor road over the canal and gives access to the nearby farms.

It is one of the TMCS replacement mileposts. I believe it was unveiled by Derby County footballer Kevin Hector. The dedication plate has the following wording:
